{Your Story}

What inspired you to start a career in fitness? My own journey to health and fitness opened my eyes to wanting to share with others what can be accomplished by living a healthy lifestyle. With Adina’s encouragement, I decided to get certified and go for it!

What do you love about your job? Every day I get to help clients achieve their goals, become healthier and more confident. Helping change their lives for the better is very fulfilling. I love giving them the extra push. The friendships that develop along the way is the best perk. I’m blessed to be able to do what I love. It never feels like work.

What is your favorite workout to do on your own? I love my No BS workouts that I design. I also love HIIT! Basically anything that incorporates weights and cardio.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? I love spending time with my babies, family and friends. Coffee dates and travel adventures with Jason are my favorite too!

What are 3 things people may not know about you?
1.) My first name isn’t Michelle. It’s Laura.
2.) I’m a homebody.
3.) I don’t like kale!

What’s one piece of advice would you give to someone who is on a journey to lose weight, but feeling discouraged? You can’t expect to stay completely motivated 24/7, but don’t give up! Set realistic goals and expectations. When it comes to your body, slow and steady is almost always the correct answer. Use teamwork. It’s helpful to be around others who have similar goals. Get out of your comfort zone. Doing something new can help in changing your habits and pressing forward to your goals.
