LiveFIT classes are for all fitness levels, but do I have to be in shape?

You do not need to “be fit” or “get in shape” to come to LiveFIT classes.  If you have not been moving at all in the past year and decide to join us, know we offer modifications and you can go at your own pace. We offer classes that appeal to people of all fitness levels.  Our program is NOT just for weight loss.  It is an athletic based program and many of our participants compete in events and races on a regular basis.

What do I do when I get there? 

When you come to either Studio A or Studio B, sign in on the iPad and head in for class.  Studio classes are limited in attendance so be sure to sign up in advance to secure your spot!

Is my first class free?

If you are new to LiveFIT, we want you to get a good feel for all that we offer.  We don’t offer a first free class because it’s important you give a class more than one try before deciding whether it’s a good fit.  Check out our New Client Special.  For 30 days you can come to 12 classes for only $30!  Best deal around!

What do I need to bring to a class? 

You need to bring water and a sweat towel. Tennis shoes are not needed for yoga and barre but plan on wearing tennis shoes for all other classes. For cycling, firm bottomed tennis shoes or cycle shoes with recessed bottoms are the best. We recommend you trying padded cycle shorts re a gel seat as well.  Sometimes bootcamp classes are outdoors.  In that case, wear layers and cover your head and hands.

How do I sign up for a class? 

Search for the LiveFIT app (available for iPhone and Android)!  Click on the Class and Book Now.

Using the MindBody website, log in and click on Classes. Find the class you want to attend and click “Sign Up Now”.

Using the MindBody Connect App, view the Upcoming classes. Click on the class you want to attend. Click on My Schedule to see what classes you are signed up for.  **All classes can be booked 7 days in advance**


What happens if I am on the waitlist? 

More often than not, you will be added to the class if you waitlist yourself. If a spot becomes available, you are automatically put into the class. You will receive an email or text notification based on how you have it set up on your profile. If you can’t make the class, you are responsible for removing yourself from the schedule.

How do I cancel a class I can no longer attend?

In the App, click on the class.  Then click Cancel Class.

Online: Click on My Info. Go to My Schedule. Find the class you need to cancel and click Cancel. Your account will credit that class so it is available to use the next time you book.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have an 8 hour cancellation policy for all classes because they are limited in attendance.

Early Cancel: An early cancel is any cancellation (online) that occurs more than 8 hours prior to the start of your class. If you early cancel, you will not be charged.

Late Cancel: A late cancel is any cancellation (online) that occurs less than the allotted cancellation time frame.

No Show: A no show occurs if you do not cancel AND do not show up for your scheduled class.

Effective January 1, 2018  LATE CANCEL/NO SHOW POLICY  If you sign up for a class and do not cancel 8 hours before class begins or do not show up:

  • Unlimited Memberships are charged $5.
  • Basic Memberships or Drop In Classes lose the class.

We understand emergency situations happen and will continue to deal with those on a case by case basis.

Our hope in instilling this policy prevents you from being on a waitlist and allows you to get into classes easier.

How do I know how many classes I have available to use?

Log in online to the MindBody website. Go to My Info tab. Click on Account or using the LiveFIT App, click on My Account.

I’m not getting reminder emails/waitlist confirmations.

Log in online to the MindBody website. Go to My Info tab. Click on Profile. Make sure the “Send me Email Reminders and Newsletters” is clicked Yes. Click on Edit to change it. If it is clicked yes and you are not getting emails, make sure to check your spam folder. If all of the info is correct, please contact livestudio@gmail.com.

How can I get text reminders instead of emails? 

Log in online to the MindBody website. Click on My Info, Profile. On the personal tab, click on EDIT. Make sure your cell # is listed. Click on YES for Subscribe to email reminders & notifications.  Choose “Email and Text Messages” or “Email Only” for Notification Preference.

How long is each workout?

Each workout lasts 50 minutes from warm up to cooldown. It’s ideal to be at class approximately 5 minutes prior to the start of the workout.

Weather and Clothing:

Please wear comfortable clothing. Bootcamp is outdoors so dress appropriately for the weather. Layers are best for cold weather!  Surprisingly we get very warm when it’s very cold!  Classes are held indoors at the Farmer’s Market in Depot Square if there is thunder and lightning. Rain, hot and cold weather DO NOT prevent us from getting our workout on!

How can I order product?

Log onto the MindBody website. Go to Online Store. Choose the product you want to order and add to cart. You will receive an email when your product is ready to be picked up in the studio.

How do I order a gift certificate for someone?

Log in online to the MindBody website. Go to Online Store. Click on Gift Cards. Choose LiveFIT gift card. Enter the amount. Click on the         Send Recipient gift card via email. Enter Recipient’s email address and the date to send the gift card. Choose the format of the gift card and proceed to checkout. The recipient will receive the gift card via email. If you do not want the recipient to receive the gift card, do not check the box. Instead a copy is sent to your email.

Health Considerations: Before joining any new exercise program, always check with your physician. You will need a physicians note for anyone pregnant, has heart considerations or orthopedic restrictions.
